Review: I received this book through the FirstReads giveaway program.
Truly, Madly by Heather Webber is a fast and enjoyable read. I could not put this book down once I started it!
It's about a 28-year-old psychic matchmaker, Lucy, who doesn't believe in herself because when she was 14 her "powers" were taken away by an electrical surge and she was left with a "gift" of being able to find lost objects for people. Lucy was left to run the family business, Valentine, Inc, when her dad had to go on vacation because he got caught in a compromising and career-threatening situation.
Throughout the book she gets herself into different situations where being able to use her "gift" helps her gain self-confidence and by the end, she's able to see that she does have the ability to help people and is proud of her "gift".
The book is packed full of action, comedy, mystery, suspense and romance and there's never a dull moment in Lucy's life. Make sure you read this book when you have plenty of time, because you're not going to want to put it down once you begin!
